Solo Competent Person
Your sign-off is the record, and the record lives with you. TableOne Flow structures the work so that when the question comes back years later (“what did you rely on?”), the answer is already there, linked to the JORC section it justifies.
The artefact that survives the reporting cycle
Last year’s Word document, updated where you remember it needs updating. The QAQC files, in a folder that has reorganised itself since. A sign-off record somewhere separate. When the report goes out, those three things are not linked to each other.
The Public Report may outlast the company that published it. The supporting evidence should outlast the folder structure you had at the time.
Evidence lives with the Table 1, not in a folder
Every JORC 2012 criterion is a structured field in the app. You draft directly into it. QAQC files, drilling logs, lab reports — they link to the JORC section they support, not to the project folder. The “if not, why not” prompt appears at each criterion so nothing is skipped without a deliberate decision.
The app saves as you go. Your data stays on your device today, and always can — a closed app is not a lost afternoon. The app structures the record you write and keeps it intact.
The report’s history — status changes, evidence and export events, each recorded against a name and a timestamp — exports as NDJSON or CSV with a SHA-256 fingerprint on every tier, Solo included. Team adds the Competent Person’s review rounds and sign-off to that history, and the in-app change history.
If you have a colleague who checks your work before sign-off, Team gives them a criterion-by-criterion review workflow with four decisions — Endorse, Request change, Blocker, or Ask drafter — and a structured sign-off record at the end.
One person, more than one role
In a small shop the same person often drafts the Table 1 and signs it off as Competent Person — sometimes while also administering the workspace. On Team, TableOne Flow supports that directly: drafting, Competent Person sign-off, and workspace administration are separate capabilities a single account can hold, not separate logins to juggle. On Solo you draft the whole Table 1 here, then sign it the way you sign today, outside the tool.
On Team, the audit trail records which role authorised each step. When you sign off your own draft, the record shows you acting as the Competent Person at that moment — distinct from the same account’s drafting edits earlier. Years later, a regulator or successor Competent Person reading the record can see which capacity you were acting in at each step.
One guardrail by design: a Competent Person can only sign their own sections. If the account signing is not the Competent Person named on those sections, the tool refuses the signature and asks you to sign in as that person.

Last year’s report — and your work instructions — open while you draft this one
Most estimates are not first drafts. Import your prior published JORC reports, your work instructions and other reference material into one library, organised into tabs, and keep any of it open as a read-only reference while you draft this year’s Table 1 — see how you approached a criterion before, without hunting through a folder for the file. On Solo and above, point the library at a folder on your device and it scans for new or changed files each time you open the tab. Everything stays read-only while you draft; every response is drafted to the current data.
On Solo, your reference library — including folder-watch — is held on your device. Team will sync it across your machines (planned), so it is there wherever you draft.
Sampling techniques
Diamond drill core was sampled in nominal 1 m intervals, half-core split with a diamond saw, and submitted to a NATA-accredited laboratory.
Read for approach, not wording. Your Table 1 must describe the work actually done on this deposit.
Diamond core from the 2025 first-pass programme (NQ2) was sampled on nominal 1.5 m intervals, broken at lithological contacts, and half-core split with a diamond saw. Certified reference materials and field duplicates were inserted in accordance with the project sampling protocol.

Team — where the sign-off record lives. The Competent Person’s review rounds and the sign-off are added to the report’s history, and that history becomes readable in the app rather than only on export. Team also adds the Competent Person review workflow — a criterion-by-criterion review queue with comments anchored to the criterion — for when a colleague checks your work before sign-off.
